October 19, 2009: MTB (mountainbike) -->Kathmandu – Buddhanilkantha (53km)

October 20, 2009: MTB --> Buddhanilkantha – Chisopani (40km), via Shivapuri reserve (birds, wildlife) and part of the Helambu trekking

October 21, 2009: MTB --> Chisopani – Nagarkot (35km), in Nagarkot nice views of Annapurna and even the Everest

October 22, 2009: MTB daytour Nagarkot – Nala, Banepa, Dhulikhel, Panauti and return to Nagarkot

October 23, 2009: MTB Nagarkot – Sankhu, opening Hamro Gaun of Stichting Veldwerk (http://www.stichting-veldwerk.nl/) at Sankhu (1pm), party at 1905 restaurant in Kathmandu

October 24, 2009: MTB Nagarkot – Bhaktapur - Kathmandu


















October 25, 2009: KTM - Chitwan (tourist bus), visit Tharu village and National Park Visitors Centre. Sunset view from river bank. Dinner with slideshow about wildlife.

October 26, 2009 (Huub's birthday!): Dugout canoe trip, nature walk program, visit elephant breeding farm. Wash and swim with elephants in river. Elephant back safari, Tharu dancing performance in evening

October 27, 2009: Drive to Dhading, stay at Shreeban resort

October 28, 2009: Dhading and back to Kathmandu














October 29, 2009: Start trekking to Everest Basecamp: Flight to Lukla & trek to Phakding [2-3h]

October 30, 2009: Trek Phakding – Namche [3450m, 9-10h]

October 31, 2009: Rest day in Namche (market, optional hike to Khumbung monastery and/or Everest View hotel)

November 1, 2009: Trek Namche – Thyangboche [3864m]

November 2, 2009: Trek Thyangboche- Dingboche [5-6h]

November 3, 2009: Rest day in Dingboche

November 4, 2009: Trek Dingboche - Lobuche [4930m, 6-7h]

November 5, 2009: Trek Lobuche-Gorak Shep [5184m, 4-5h]and optionally to Kala Pattar [2-3h, 5550m]

November 6, 2009: Gorak Shep to Everest Basecamp [5357] and back to Lobuche

November 7, 2009: Trek Lobuche – Pangboche [3985m, 6-7h]

November 8, 2009: Trek Pangboche- Namche [3450m, 6-7h]

November 9, 2009: Namche- Lukla [2900m, 9h]

November 10, 2009: Flight to Kathmandu

November 11, 2009: Rest day Kathmandu

November 12, 2009: Rest day Kathmandu

November 13, 2009: Flight back to Holland at 10:30
